I was born in Hamburg Germany and had a great time riding ponies, donkeys or just about anything I could
get my hands on, even a fence.
I first learned dressage on my 3 year old 17 hand Hanoverian stallion. Together we ran up the levels to
showing fourth and my trainer showing him PSG.
My first trainer in Germany was Juergen Koschel He was my greatest influence, He inspired me in many
ways and to always strive for the best.
After training in Germany for many years I moved to sunny California where I imported and sold numerous
Warmbloods. While there I continued my training with help from Christine Traurig, also a German trainer
and Olympic competitor.
My husband and I moved to North Carolina in May of 2005 and we love It!
Now I train with Lientjie Schueler, Stefen Peters assistant trainer from CA.
My new and current horse, Louis IV wrapped up the 2008 season with Training level Horse of the year for
NCDCTA. Now we are showing and winning First level! Next year we will be ready for Third level.
I also showed Trigger this past year and he is such an amazing pony. He is now showing Third level!
My goal is to develop harmony between horse and rider and have lots of fun.
I can train the right trail horse to be a great dressage partner.
Dressage should be light and easy, but it's also always work and never quite good enough.
I earned my USDF bronze medal for my achievements with Adonis.
